Crane Creek/ Magee Marsh Update

Be advised that the current has eroded the ice approx. 1 mile out. It is unsafe. I was there yesterday and watched 2 atv's with 4 fisherman physically check the area of the pressure crack. They said it had 1" next to the crack. He hit it with his spud bar and the spud bar now lies on the bottom of the lake. I spoke with them in the parking lot after I watched them turn back. Focus your attention to Catawba SP in OH or Brest Bay in MI. No fisherman have launched off Camp Perry as of yesterday so I am uncomfortable giving any report regarding the ice conditions. Catawba is safe.
