5-27 West of Mouse

First trip out for my boat for the year. Crew of 3 trolled, started 2 Miles West of Mouse, Big Dipseys 58'/3.5, 42'/1.5 and 32'/0 setting. 25'-24' average depth, water was murky. First 3 hours had 9 keepers with 9 throw backs, just enough action to keep from moving. This area shut down so trolled south of this area and tried shallower and points West to the mouth of the Portage. Only had 4 more keepers but about 40 more shorts. Best spoon was a toss up between Nascar and Purple Pooh Bear. "looks like next year will be a banner year" but I think that's what we said the last 2 years also. Nothing over 20" so nice eaters.
