Looking for opinions for a trip on Tuesday

I have seen the weather/lake report since Friday, however I live in central Ohio and don't know whether it's worth me making the trip up on Tuesday. Thoughts or opinions I was looking to stay near the rocks out in front of portage. Also if I make the trip for perch I would mind trying to seeking out a few walleye in that area or closest proximity to that area. Any thoughts where they might be found around Catawba/mouse/south/rattlesnake/etc? Biggest question would I be wasting my time and gas money driving up Tuesday?
