Anyone catching fish in Michigan waters of Lake Erie?

I read the fishing reports here every week or so.
Is anyone catching fish in MI waters?
I'm familiar with the southern shore in Ohio as I used to dock a boat at Meinke Marina.
Making runs to the cans around the firing range is a little far when coming from the Michigan shore.

I was on the boat Saturday and the water has cleared up a lot. It was getting pretty green for a while there.

Different subject: How is Cooley Canal holding up depth wise? I left Meinke a couple of years ago because the Army Corp wasn't dredging
the Cooley Canal that leads to Meinke. Is the canal silting in again?
