slow at Geneva
Sunday morning we drove over from Erie because of reports of good walleye catches.
It turned out to be a bust. We fished hard till 1pm and we were rewarded with one 28 inch walleye and five white bass.We marked many fish 30 to 38 feet.
Eight rods trolling harnesse, all colors. We had trolling motor problems and had to run big motor. Maybe the noise scared them or the just weren't hungry. We were at the stacks from 44 out to 54 deep. Just one of those days I guess

Went out of Geneva this AM only to find 4 to 6 footers in a 15 to 20 mph wind when they were supposed to be 2 feet or less. Trolled the 48' to 52' water depth for 3 hours throwing everything at them and never boated a single keeper. Called it a bad day and went in for brunch at Cup of Joe's. Great Reuben sandwich.
