Walleye off Erie PA.

Anyone having any luck yet for Walleye out of Erie Pa? I know it may be a little early for eyes but it may be the only chance our crew may have to make a run till mid-August do to other obligations. And by then it may be too late.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tight lines to all!!

I'm going to try off Walnut this Friday weather permitting. I see the GLFS temps are OK and I saw 2 reports of walleyes being caught around Erie. in 35 to 45 FOW.Last year our best fishing was around the 4 th of July. I will post if I can find and catch them

I've seen some reports (spotty reports from a different site) they're catching a few out of Northeast off the mountain in 40 fow. Hopefully they'll turn on soon. But with the East/Northeast wind the next 3-4 days I'm not counting on it happening. We were hoping to fish Friday Saturday & Sunday morning. But it looks like 2-4' on Friday. Hate to mobilize all the equipment & drive 3 hours to set in a hotel 1 of the 2 days you're hoping to fish. We'll see. I'll post also if we make the trip.
