Started at 6am, 3 man limit by 745. 13-15FOW in front of Besse. The fish were mostly small, but keepers. We fished for bigger fish for a couple more hours with little success. The bite really shut down after 830 or so. Some with shiners, some without, some on a soft and short lift, some, wanted a more aggressive pop. Mostly on purple. I think the early bite is the key.
