started day out trolling metgers to crane creek, 1 4 lb. walleye
and 14 10 to 12 inch walleyes, sheephead and white bass, spent rest of day perch fishing 3 miles out of wards, 22 ft. of water
a little east of last night, 5 men , 128 keeper perch after sorting, 32.5 lbs at cleaners, no jumbos but decent perch,
shorter one hook rig work best, 12 inch lead instead of 16inch leads, with white bead or chartuse bead,1/2 oz sinker, very finky
perch, minnows soft due to heat.best walleye catches today at marina 27 and 18 both captains fishing red and white bouy area, trolling spoons, and jet 40's Capt. Mike and Wayne, Reel Sport Charters

Hey wayne not trying to steal your spot or anything, but I hear you speak of Wards. I am farmiliar with most of the western basin, from marblehead up to crane creek area.. not sure where you mean when you say wards? anyways just wondering strong work today.. thanks man
