All this rough/cooler weather may actually help bring walleye back to Western basin? Fished Huron September 11-21 with a few blow days. Got limit for 2 people one day but overall worst fishing I've experienced at lake Erie. Hopefully the fish move back in and weather calms down at some point. I'm not giving up just yet.
fished 10/9 around L can lot of marks but weeds still too bad for lures. Maybe next week.
Fished Lake Erie most of my 70 plus years and every year is a different adventure. There have been years where everything works and years where it seems that nothing works. Guess that is why we call it fishing and not catching !!!! Honestly, I enjoy the boat ride and just being on the water, catching fish is just a bonus !!!
