Blueberry Muffins are at the top with the Pooh Bears either color and Jaeger Bombs but a must have are Cat Dog and Sir Walleye.
Yesterday chartreuse Pooh Bear, Helmut, Yager Bomb and Pink Panties worked for me. I'll start with those and have Sir Walleye, Purple Pooh Bear, Lemon Drop and Perch on stand-bye when I hit the lake in the morning. So many lures...so little time. See you all on Ch. 79.
Purple demon
I was waiting for someone to say Purple Demon but I thought it would of been Capt Mike from Reel Sports who would of been the first. Anyways for me it is the Pooh Bear Colors, Jaeger Bomb, Purple Demon and one I have really grown attached to in the last year or so Mrs Pauls.
For those monster Sheephead in the deeper water later on in the year it is hard to beat Chicken Wing. If the walleye fishing is really good I might slip one of those in so we can get a big head shaker to change it up a little.
Helmut, Mrs. Pauls, jager bomb, shrimp.
I've been using spoons for years they all work, confusion and orange crush are hard to beat, old school colors. One spoon I don't use is blueberry muffin its a sheep head magnet, purple with spots on one side, chratrouse on the other.
What size spoons do you guys typically use?
Yes jim you taught Capt. Mike well with purple colors, But old
Dad still likes old school colors, silver with pink strip, blue and white, yellow and black, black and orange, crawdad, and some times red or copper, but maney a fish in the box from 70's on,
