Has anyone seen the head boats lately? Have they switched to perch? Hard to believe they are running to the dumping grounds or vermillion. Going to canada maybe??

I saw all 4 on Saturday east of Niagra, south of the pack.
I was on a head boat last weekend, they were all around the cans and the reef complex there. They usually stick right around there, never travel too far. We were pulling a few walleye here and there mixed in with junk, but nothing spectacular. I ended up with 4 and that was the most on the boat.
I asked them and about perch and they said they won't go for them typically until mid-August.
There were 2 head boats that had Drawbridge Marina on the side of them. They were perch fishing between Rattlesnake and Green islands. I moved farther west and seen them move to the north. I got my limit pretty quickly and some very nice size perch. I probably didn't throw back 10 small perch.
