Sad news about D.D.E.
I am sad to report that Dennis D. Eitle passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on 1/31/17. I stopped to see him a few weeks ago as he showed me all the improvements and equipment he had added to his older Lund Pro-V in anticipation of the upcoming walleye fishing for 2017. I know D.D.E. really enjoyed all your posts, as well as the individual advice some of you shared. You can see his obit at secorfuneralhomes.com.
There are always new places to go fishing. For any fisherman, there's always a new place, always a new horizon. - Jack Nicklaus

This is so sad to hear! I met DDE last fall for a Perch trip, but my boat would not cooperate. He helped me get it on the trailer and a few other things. I was looking forward to getting him out for walleye trolling this coming season. Thoughts and prayers for friends and family.

Thank you for the update. Dang that is sad/bad news.
I having been waiting on Dennis to let me know when he would be able to do a road trip with me. He was interested in going to some of the tackle shops I frequent here in MI. I was going to set up his new boards plus spend a day talking fishing. We only talked by phone, I never got to meet him in person.

Thoughts and prayers for the family.

This is very sad news, I have also spoke with Dennis by phone numerous times and have exchanged emails with discussing boat updates and fishing or course. I also had not met him personally but planned to hook up with him during the upcoming fishing season. I know he was very excited about trolling this year with his newly purchased Terrova.
I have definitely lost a friend, very sad!
