perch fishing stony point

Went out yesterday looking for perch haven't been able to get out in 2 weeks. went to raisin river 1 and 2 buoy didn't mark anything, went out to sputnik and didn't mark anything there either, went to stony point in 24 feet of water almost directly off the point and marked a small pod of fish decided to give it a try. Slow at first then hot doubles and triples slowed down again for about 30 mins then took off again doubles and triples. Caught them on perch rigs with no bling seemed to work best. Caught one 9 incher and on the way up something big hit my line thought it was going to break the pole and then let go and when I pulled in the perch had quite a gash on it's side!.

Ended up punching a 2 man limit in 3 hours weighed 22 lbs at the cleaners. Wish I would've known this morning was going to be this calm I would've went again.
