fishing report 5-29-11

went out today with north coast charters left dock at 6am started fishing at 7am. Ran 9 miles out northwest of west sister. 5 guys casted untill 9am with very little luck caught 2 eyes. Decided to switch to trolling when the wind died completely down and the flies started to bite. Picked up 9 more using stingers 55 back on jets. No real color of stinger was killing them by any means and I believe we caught 2 on dipseys. A total of 11 eyes from 7am till 3:30pm a very slow pick. I sure hope the casting bite picks up a bit but as we all know it depends on the weather which sucks lately. Didnt hear to many good reports on the radio or cell seemed like the storm overnight turned them off atleast thats what im going with. Goodluck and I want to thank Cptn Gary Leach who never disappoints. I been out several times and he never gives up we would still be fishing if my wife didnt call and remind me I have three beautifull children to come home to. thanks again Gary
