Lifting rod evenly. No snapping. Lower the jig always keeping tension in the line. Only 6 inches to keep the jig in the strike zone. Walleye spawn on the bottom, unlike perch.
I buried the guts from Saturday in the garden. The puppies helped me find them today. :)
