Rocky River 6/29, 6/30
Left the launch ramp at 1 and went north to 45' and trolled dipsys and spoons for a little while. The marks weren't good so I moved out to 55' and the marks were a lot better. Had my solo limit by 3. 18-22" lost a big one and let three small keepers go. Saturday morning left the dock about 7:45 and went north to 54' and got a three man limit by 11. 16-20" lost one and a few throwbacks. Dipseys and spoons 3 setting 75-90 back, flicker minnows with 3oz. 80-100 back with an inline board and 40TT jets with spoons 100-150 back.

Where's the ramp at Rocky River?????
-
There's an entrance to the Rocky River Reservation on Detroit rd on the Lakewood side of the bridge. Boat ramps are at the bottom of the hill you'll see the signs. Nice ramps and close to the lake.

Ramp
Is this the ramp for Emerald Necklace or is it the public boat ramp? How long of a trip is it to the lake? With my smaller boat, I'm always looking for best places to launch and considering the weather/wave conditions. I learned last week that a 10 MPH east wind out of 72nd was not suitable for my boat.

These are public ramps (free) next to emerald necklace marina. The lake is close maybe 10-15 minutes it's a no wake zone. The marina also has a bait/tackle store.

Thanks, CE. Are there any shallow areas or other concerns to be aware of? I sure appreciate your help.

No concerns, the river is wide and 13' deep in the middle. Nice ramps and parking.
