Looking to put it at Catawba State Park this weekend and try for some perch. Haven't Fished out that way yet and not sure where to go. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Try the green buoy on your way out from the launch. Short run.
I heard there is a good bite right out from Mazuriks.....you might want to consider launching from there.
Being your own emerald shiners and pearching has been spotty at best
Fished north of Lakeside Saturday. Huge pack of boats spread out all over the place. Likely some fish there, but I never found them.
