Read today that Catawba and Mazuricks iced in.
The Huron ramp was also iced in.
Several people went out of Huron yesterday and it was reported that the ramp is ice free and that they didn't see any chunks of ice going out the river.Quote:

I drove over to Catawba yesterday and found it open. There was a little skim ice in the area, but it was very doable. The day before, Mazurik's had one lane open and the others had floating ice pushed in from the west wind that day.
we made it out on friday. Had a little skim ice to deal with for a couple hundred yards at launch. ended day with 10 walleyes and 3 jumbo perch jiging pimples tipped with shiners. 30 fow between green and mouse island.
Good deal Troy. Any size to those walleye over that way?
