Trailer Jack Warning!!!

Unfortunately I have no good fishing news but a friendly warning about the fold away trailer jack systems. This Saturday my Dad went out with the family and upon coming back was working on pushing the boat back into our garage. Our trailer jack decided it had, had enough of the weight and snapped off the trailer dropping in onto the side of his ankle. Turns out it was enough to break it and his left foot ended up folding outward. Take this as a warning, especially if the jack seems to sit at an angle instead of straight up and down. Safe fishing!

Ouch! Man that looks painful! Hopefully he was not trapped under the weight of the boat and it was a glancing blow.
