maumee river report its started

5 of us fished from 10.30 to 1.0 oclock landed 8 walleyes all males 2 legal 6 snagged all released, we fished away from everyone where the quite mud bottom meets the rock and current, we used 1/4 oz and 3/8 oz small heads, white bass size tails rainbow and chartuse. lots of fish jumping, also caught 7 carp and two gars, saw three huge females taken today, as far as rest of crowd most had none or one, but did see a couple of limits taken, all males, they also were away from the crowds. we also lost about and another dozen fish that we don't know what they were as we didn't take any net and were
hand landing all the fish, was a great day water is in good shape, a few ice chunks coming down, about a dozen boats around us but in the current.
