Does anyone know how the is is doing ?
It all either melted and/or has been wind driven scattered. Web cams show there isn't any around Port Clinton or out east of Maumee Bay. We'll see what this week's arctic temperature do. The wind on Sunday and Monday should chill the waters and maybe get some decent ice formation starting on Tuesday.
Any ice on east harbor?
With open water in the western basin and the winds to keep ice from forming, I see nothing in the 10 day forecast on weather.com that will facilitate the forming of ice thick enough to fish on! Accuweather shows no better of an outlook either.

There is ice in marinas and I heard some guys ice fishing yesterday around docks for pan fish. I did not hear how think the ice in the marinas so be careful. As far as the lake it looks open. Temps look cold for next 10 days or so then warming up again. If ice does form on lake I don't think it will be around for long.
Is there any place ti get a boat in?
When I was up last week, ice in our marina back the portage was about 4 inches, that was before the last few days of warm and rain. But saw pics on fb that showed ppl on the ice out on the bass islands, I don't think I would trust it yet, but I don't think I would trust it much ever, just don't need fish that bad in my book. But falling through once when younger and feeling water that cold is something one won't forget or want to feel again
There is 2inch on East garner one more week.
That is east harbor sorry.
4 inches on East Harbor with many fishing.
