A great Sunday afternoon.
After completing some minor maintenance on my boat, we hit the water at 12 noon out of Catawba. We headed due west for about a mile and a half. We stopped to see if there were any marks, and the screen was covered with them top to bottom. ( If you look at the sat pic from yesterday, it was the stained wisp, just west of the Catawba ramp that ran from the mouth of the river in PC.) On one side we ran blue chrome, clown dhj, and ainti-freeze. 70, 50, & 45. On the other side, chrome, black wonder bread, and something purple. 60, 45, & 35. They all caught fish but the purple one. The water was stained, but you could see the cavitation plate. We trolled due west for approximately 2.5 miles. 6 fish on first pass, 8 on second. Speed was 1.3 to 1.5. After the first pass we went back and did another as stated. They were a very nice grade of fish. Water temp was 44.5.

Fantastic! Beautiful fish and a great post. I’m working on some spring maintenance on my boat now and hope to get out after Easter. Thanks again for your post!
Re: A great Sunday afternoon.
Looks like you had a good day! Awesome!
Re: A great Sunday afternoon.
Just wondering.. we’re you just running straight lures with no added weight?
Re: A great Sunday afternoon.
We never run inline weights. What we have works, so we never felt the need for P-10s or simular lures.
