fast action on fire! weekend report

great weekend to be on the lake! Sat pm was a little bumpy, but my guys kept me really busy running the nets. They caught there limit for 5 guys in about 4 hrs with a little catch and released at the end. Purple jigs quick hops, down wind side. K can then locust about 16 fow.
Sunday we had a dbl both great groups of guys. Am guys and my firstmate took there fish ongreen jigs on the rocks of tousaint. Shallow water slower lift. I fished with my pm guys and 1st mate ran net, we caught our on big pickerl, clean water on ch-orange jigs. Had a female still full of eggs and hard. And all males were milkn fools. These fish are still there to be caught and are biting if you get on them. Not everyone got them,This weekend but the persistent captains found active fish. Good luck to all!

we did because we already had our fish, but highly doubt she will actually spawn at this point. We catch fish every year that didnt spawn im sure this yr will be no different.
