Best wave forecast?
If I remember correctly, some of you suggested using different wave forecasts than the NOAA because they seemed to be more accurate. Can anyone suggest any? Might be coming up a day early this week if it looks like the weather will cooperate.
Thanks,
Adam

Try iWindsurf.com for the wind velocity. Then figure roughly 1ft. of wave for every 5 knots of wind. Obviously, with southerly winds, the land will provide some protection, as can the islands.

Wave height??
Hi Adam. I go to ( WBSA. denied) click on Bouy#2 turnaround. It will give you
current as well as past 24 hour pictures and wind direction and speed.
You can also click on Lakevision from that site they have a camera in several locations, Monroe,Huron, Puttin Bay, Kelleys and more. Hope this helps
Good luck. John. aboard Tinkertoy. Anchor Point Marina

This page has a wealth of info that tinkertoy previously alluded too.
From this page I look at the South Bass weather station for real time wind speed and direction. I also look at the vermillion weather buoy and multiply the wave height roughly by 1.75 or 2 and it will give you a ball park of the real-time conditions.

Is there a website that has the Camp Perry firing range schedule? I know they're supposed to broadcast on channel 16 whenever zone 2 is closed, but it'd be nice to have an idea ahead of time.
Also, is everyone still on 79?

Thanks so much for all the links everyone. I was having alot of trouble finding accurate wave forecasts. I bookmarked a few to use for the future.
Again, thanks!
