I've been fishing Erie for years but have only used riggers, dipseys, and planner boards with mono all the time. I hear everyone talking about 5 color/ 10 color etc. I assume its leadcore but have no knowledge of how the set up works. Any info to get me started would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance....
This new mobile site drives me nuts. It completely deleted my entire reply. Call fishkiller, he can get you everything you need, 716-796-5372. Each color of lead is 10yds (30ft) and sinks 5-7 ft depending on speed and lure. We run 20 lb big game mono backer, then leadcore, then a 50ft 15lb mono leader with a high quality double lock ball bearing snap swivel.
