7/30 perch report

Well it was a struggle yesterday. Had a 7 and 4 year old with us. Didnt drop first line till about 1:30. Man was it hot out there. We started out at the gravel pit. A few dinks. Moved N of B can picked up 34 in total. Good size just not the #ers. Shouldve headed out to the turn around. Talked to another buddy and he and his partner ended up limiting. But whos to say we wouldnt have caught more if we werent baiting and untangling rods. It was good to get those kids out though. Next time it will be an eve. trip with the kids, just to hot for em.
