walleye drift report 7-14

headed east this morning out of meinkes west. Ran about 3 miles out and drifted from reno beach to crane creek. 20-22ft of water. Alot of boats trolling and perch fishing. 3 guys caught 18 keepers by noon. Copper and silver colorado blades worked best. Had a nice drift this morning when we left dock at 6am. Also used 4oz bottom bouncers that produced 9 of the keepers. Another grand day out on lake erie. 36lbs at the cleaners. And lets not forget the 20-30 small eyes in between. goodluck and hope to hear more reports.

Morning bite must have been good. Fished same area at 1130am had 4 shorts, then the perch started hitting are worm harnesses. 9s and 10s so we through out the anchor, 2 man limit by 2pm . Nice size fish. Alage bloom starting out there. 22 ft of water we were in between wards and crane creek. Good luck to all.
