Just when the fishing started to get good... here comes the wind to slow it down again... hopefully it wont be as bad as they say it will. I am ready for the fish to put the feed bags on....

6-9 w/ Noreasters. Water datum +51"s. shoreline flooding. Ouch. Water can't get out of river. Good news. Westerly to follow. Good luck and good fishing
Yep. I was pumped to get out for the first time Saturday. Hopefully Sunday will hold off.
I'm hopin you are right and they are way off on the wind prediction.
The notification that i got on my phone for Port Clinton was 57-72" above recent levels with N.E. surge and flooding from the rain. I will anxious to hear what the levels actually rose to.
When I read the title of this thread "wind" I expected to see Slipper's post to read something like this...A big thanks to ReelTime for screwing up the weekend with all the hard winds". Seems every time I plan a trip up the wind decides to blow. LOL!!
If you don't mind where you guy's finding current water level datum?
Thanks,
Kevin
I was thinking of coming up to fish Sunday, forecast looks good but not sure if the lake will be churned up to bad, Does anyone know what the water looks like, cant get a shot from MODIS
Well i looked at the lake today and all i can say is CHOCOLATE MILK w/ EXTRA CHOCOLATE.
Thanks Jay, We will shoot for next weekend
