island perch 8-26

Fished south of Rattlesnake this morning. I kept 16 fish that were 9+ inches. I probably tossed back 8-10 little guys. Only junk fish was two white perch.
I got off to a slow start because the store on Middle Bass was out of minnows so I had to go to South Bass to get some there. Was not impressed with their frozen minnies, they were mushy the nibblers stole my bait very easily.
Also I lost more fish today on the way to the surface than I ever recall before.

Yesterday at about 10 am when I was flying to Middle Bass I swear there must have been 300 boats from Green to Rattlesnake and west. Truly a sight to see!
