Perch fishing last trip of year.
Fished Sat. solo West of Kelleys unloading dock caught 18 small and slow.
Sunday my friend any I started there and the water was dirty so moved to Gull shoal water was cleaner caught one.
Then moved to Kelley shoal saw walleye boats (20) so we then fished for perch 100 yards south of the most East can in 26 feet of water.
In three hours we caught 30 perch 10 to 12 inches, 12.5 pounds before cleaning and my friend on top of that pulled in a 26.5'' walleye 6.5 pounds.
All caught on spreaders with small silver flickers with green glass beads. Left lay on the bottom then raised up 12'' no tap drop back down.
We were told goldie minnows did not catch fish, I guess no one told the perch.
On another note I am selling my boat I have used on Lake Erie for 15 years. It is a 1985 21 foot Bayliner Trophy in great shape with a 97 motor.
$3200.00 call me for details. 513-543-2430.
