What does everyone think about the water conditions after the heavy rain fall yesterday. I'm about a hour and 15 mins from the islands. Just curious what you guys think the fishing would be like for this Saturday after the wind and rain. Thank you

Rainfall has almost no effect on water clarity out around the islands. It's the wind that messes it up. I don't think you'll have a problem finding descent water. Keep in mind you really don't want clear water for early springtime walleyes. The only 100% guarantee I can make for you is you won't catch any sitting at home. They are calling for an onshore wind to develope, so it could get a little bumpy.
Well, they caught fish today, so this weekend should only be better.
Coming out of wildwings, it was muddy as far as you could see. Had to run at least 7 miles before you even got a little color change. Seen a few fish caught jigging. The trollers did a lot better.
Some of us rookies even caught fish today Thanks to folks like Capt. Juls and the other Pros who share so much info. Thanks to everyone.
Left out of Catawba at 1P.M. and We trolled for two hours from 1 - 3 with no bites just off Niagra. Decided to go North of Niagra another 1/2 mile or so, just North of all the other boats and Bam we put 5 nice eyes in the boat in an hour. Lemon Lime crush P10 and a Deep bandit with purple worked best.
Good luck to all tomorrow. Heading back up in the morning. Hope I can find a place to park. Thanks again ALL, for the help. It was a Good Friday!!!!

I don't know about the shore line fishing but the bite was great 5 miles out or so. Good luck the water was stained just perfect for fishing.
