Looking for somewhere to take a junk boat. Old I/O. I'm from maumee area.
I can delete the thread. Not many posts in the lounge and I'm a little pressed for time so wanted to make sure it was read. Thanks and sorry for posting here.

We scrapped one out a few years ago down in mansfield. Took it to the county transfer station. We pulled the motor, outdrive, and fuel tank out. The charged us by weight. Don't know if there is any place like that up by you or not
Try calling evergreen landfill in Northwood maybe they will take it.
ran across this place looking for some boat parts

I junked out a 15' tri hull a while back. our garbage company has a transfer place for people to dump the trash that wont fit in a garbage can. I didnt know if they would take the boat or not. they let me dump the boat. all I did was unhook the boat and go fast in reverse then hit my brakes. once the boat transom was on the floor all I did was pull the trailer out and I was good to go with the trailer. try your local dump.
Seeing how your from Maumee area
I would check into Checkers Marine, I think you take 75 N to luna Pier exit to (dixie hwy 24 north?) they are a boat salvage yard
There is another one in that area but I don't remember the name
