I am hoping so too, we had them for sat, but the weather and water condition were terrible, wave were nice, but very grey yucky water no fish, monday weather was great lake looked perfect, no bait to be found in down town port clinton as of 930 am all said they had just enough for the head boats to go out
Nothing but frozen Catawba area monday.

Not sure when we will get live emerald shiners, but goldies will start to appear in few bait stores, expecially for weekend.
Went out Sunday north of green, had to use frozen minnows from Herbs (Catawba Island). Three guys = 90 fish. Done at 3:30.
Got some nice size ones but most around 8-9".
Saturday...Southeast winds 10 knots or less becoming east. Waves 1 foot or less.
Saturday Night...East winds 5 to 15 knots becoming southeast. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
Looks like we will use frozen minnows or not go perch fishin.
Here a link to the moon phases if anyone is interested.
As we all know the moon does have an effect on how many shiners are available.

Here is another one! The moon phase is under each monthly calender. By the way they are calling for cloudy skys on friday night in the port clinton area so maybe there will be some shiners available after all, we can always hope. Check the second link.

I think I'm gonna bring some minnows up with me. They won't be emeralds but at least I'll have bait.
The satellite pictures looks like it might get cloudy to me. Maybe as wakina suggested it might . And maybe someone will catch some shiners.
