Great bite NE of Kellys Island

We hit the water early. We left out of Huron and headed to the NE side of Kelly's Island. We netted the first walleye at sunrise.
we put 8 in the cooler, by drifting 3oz bottom bouncers with single blade gold worm harnesses. The lake layed down enough to switch over to trolling Dipsy divers, an we quickly finished our 2 man limit. The faster moving gold worm harnesses attracted bigger more aggressive fish. We finished up in 3 1/2 hours, and had a blast. There are not too many times you can say it was perfect, this morning was pretty close. If I could have every day end up like today, I think I would be burning up vacation time in a hurry!
