Sunday round the point
Didn't get on the lake till 6PM yesterday. Went west of point to 59 fow.
Had to wait for weather. Fished till 8:30 and picked up 10 walleye. Had a couple of firsts. First,we didn't catch a single junk fish. Nothing but walleye. Second, caught most of our fish on downriggers . Never had a day when that outfished everything else. All caught on pinks or antifreeze double willow harness. Found one tight, very small, school and kept hammering them. Five on downriggers, three on leadcore, two on dipsies . Everything we marked was at 50 to 55 feet down.

Wow, that's great Rubycat.
We had a top secret tip that only a few knew of (NOT) - Hit the Ohio line and fish the 48 to 52 fow. We left Walnut for the Ohio line and there must have been 100 boats when we arrived LOL. Everyone fishing the 48 to 56 fow. We seen many marks on the sonar, all 40 to 45 foot down, but not too many takers. We fished from about 8:30am to 2:00 in that area seeing a lot of marks and picked up 3 keepers -biggest one was 27" the other 2 were low 20". Lost one at the boat and had about 4 shorts.

When you come out of the Presque Isle bay in Eerie turn west.
