Camp Perry 2/20/21
My son and I went out of Camp Perry yesterday morning on snowmobile. We covered almost 20 miles and didn't mark a fish until 3:30pm. Fished all the depths between 20-30'. Finally found fish in 30' half way between E and F can. There was some current there, the first current all day. Landed about 15 between 3:30 and 6pm with 4 keepers in the 18-22" range. They favored Chartreuse and Silver on a Little Cleo or Swedish Pimple. Ice was a solid 8" everywhere we drilled. No cracks to speak of. That doesn't mean free reign to do whatever you want, but I suspect ice will be good for the next week or two, assuming unusually warm currents or strong South wind doesn't mess things up. My track starts 5 miles out of Camp Perry as I forgot to hit record when we left. Stay Safe!
