Report Thurs.7/24
Caught limit in four hours. 23 fow, 3mi out from crane creek. Drifting bottom bouncers and gold harnesses and casting gold weapons. Near "A" can for first two hours, with 1 ft. waves, caught one 'eye. Moved to 23 fow and the waves picked up to 2-3 ft. Caught the rest in two hours casting weapons. Nothing on bouncers/harnesses. Fish seemed suspended at around 15-16 fow. It's amazing how when the wind and waves pick up, the action seems to pick up too.

That is why we call it a walleye chop.:)

My favorite breeze/chop is when it nearly unbearable. Stiff 25 mph winds with 4-6 foot follers out of the North or Northwest. Its rough as heck, but so productive. The Lake Erie walleye chop. Love it!
