has anybody ever tried for perch after the "ice is gone", i know we didn't get much of it.always fished ice perch then when the ice left started on the eye's.just wondered if any body has tried this.

years ago the old timers use to put on waders and go on the ice when it was honey combo soft, fish water less than top off waders incase they broke and fell in, they fish the beach at crane creek down to megters pier, they used to take hundreds
of big yellow perch, no one trys it no more, my option that area
or water intake to shore to little cedar point,

one would think the perch would be in post spawn and ready to feed.it's got my interest ,may give it a try ......once the weather breaks:rolleyes:
