So how long will it be until the water clears up. It sounds like Saturday it will still be blowing. Will fishing be worthwhile on Monday? Will it take to Tuesday?

I wouldn't doubt if it takes to the mid week or later. We haven't seen a consistent blow like this in a LONG time! If it were me I'd wait until Thursday Friday at least. There will be better days ahead. Not only do you have to worry about clarity but a major danger will be floating and just submerged debris!
Wednesday at the earliest .. This blow coming through has caused havoc in a lot of Marinas with floating debris everywhere and still happening.. Extra eyes on deck will be needed to look out for submerged debris coming from this blow .. Time will tell that is for sure .. Be safe out there when able to return!!
Winds forecast is to continue out of the NE even when they die down to under 15mph on Sunday afternoon. Monday they switch around to out of the SE S, very light and remain light through the week. At least there won't be any significant wind for several days to allow the Lake to settle down. But air temperatures below normal.
I would say by next weekend.Water got mixed up and water temp dropped too.I don't think any area of water survived the washing machine action from this weekend. We used to try the west side of Pelee first after a big NE blow but you can't fish in Canada yet.
NOAA Modis satellite image hasn't undated since Wednesday. Sunny day up at the Lake today so too bad we can't see just how bad the Lake is stirred up.
Hey guys, since NOAA is down, you can check Zoom Earth. It takes 2 satellite pic a day in HD. Zoom Earth | LIVE weather satellite, radar, wind maps
Thanks for that site to see Erie. Thanks
Erie is a muddy mess.
Wow! Gonna be awhile!
i just checked the lake image on that 'zoom earth' website mentioned. if the picture is accurate, the lake looks a lot better today than it did yesterday!
