auto pilot ?

just picked up boat today with new auto pilot installed was wondering how much course deviation i should expect i know it was rough out there today but up to 20 degrees is that common it is a raymarine spx10 thanks for your replies Jeff

No, you have to set it to how close you want it to run 1 thru 9. The lower the number the harder it has to work to stay on course. So go thru set up and change the setting it should help.
