We have a navcom unit on our boat. It works great as long as we dont have 4-6 footers.

Just ordered a new raymarine sport pilot spr x5 from boatdeals.com.
Was on the phone with raymarine and they said it is just back out after
being pulled from market and redone from past issues. Can't wait to try this out as I have been looking for a long time, Cost was $1600.00. Has anyone used these yet?

    Default Raymarine sport pilot

Just had a Sport pilot installed by Anchor marine and it worked great this weekend, Just dont know we fished without it. They did a great job with the install and showed us how to use this. Has anyone else had the new version installed yet.

I had the s1000 on my 25' Proline 250 Sport it worked great. The only issues I had with it was trolling below 1.5 mph. I sold the boat this past fall and my new boat has a $5000 Furuno autopilot and it doesn't work any better than the $1000 s1000. I will tell you one thing once you have an autopilot you will never own a boat without it.
