Is it mostly the worm that causes the strike or is it the blade color, size and style that causes the strike. ? food for thought.

Food for thought -
A walleye won't hit a worm harness without a worm. But it will hit a stick bait without a worm. ?????
I have video proof that walleyes will hit an empty harness. We didn't hook the fish but it did hit it, that harness was hit up with some kishels maybe that's it or not. I personally think the back color of the blades make more of a difference. We logged hundreds of hour of video on the waterwolf cameras and, most of our fish this past year came in from behind the harness. There were way more sideways and front strikes on our cranks than on harnesses.
Sure would like to see some of those sideway & front strikes on your video's ! thanks!
Also, Merry X-Mas (eve) TO All & have a great NEW YEAR!!
Lots more action, faster trolling speeds, maybe that's the difference with spoons and sticks. ?
food for thought, waterwolf + kishels = $ but I can save on buying worms. :)
Merry Christmas
Stick, My most produtive blade last spring and summer was a goby finish from "Walleye 101". http://www.walleye101.com/inc/sdetail/4923/20176
Attachment 35633562Yup, I've seen that one, a little pricey. I'm cheap, sorta. I've started putting mine together, nickel, copper, black, watermelon, and purple metallic. I have a few other patterns in mind, winter just started, LOL. Messed that up a little, you get the idea anyway.
