    Default lost boat

    A friend of mine had a very bad day on Sunday when a wave disabled his boat and filled it with water. The sheriff's dept and the Coastgaurd rescued them 5 miles out in front of Dunkirk. He asked me to please post a note to let fellow fisherman know that his boat is still floating. With the past easterly wind he believes it would now be between Dunkirk and Barcelona. If seen, please let the harbor master know, as I know he could use all the help he can get. Thank you fellow fisherman. God Bless.

    I'm glad he is OK........

    I hope he has insurance........it has to be a horrible feeling to have that happen.

    The coast guard was issuing warnings and the coordinates of the sunk boat all day Monday...I'm sure they have an idea where it is.

    Wow...glad there ok and thank god it's August lake temps some what. I hope he gets things worked out. Any details to what angle the wave broke over the hull? and was he trolling or underway?

    The ghost boat has been spotted 2 miles out off Dunkirk.

    Think it was out 8/13/15 . I don't know, but it might be ready for the water already. Maybe someone has an update?
