    Default Straddling the fence

Was fishing out of SP on Sunday and worked my way up to the fence. There were a ton of boats out there. Separated from the pack a bit
to avoid having to keep maneuvering to maintain distance because most people seemed to be using boards as were we. All of a sudden
four guys in a boat started hollering "Go back to America. You are poaching our fish!'. I did not think that I had crossed into Canada.
My daughter and I both checked our phones and google maps showed us as being on our side of the line. We pointed the bow south
and kept going for a ways to be sure we were in our waters just in case though. What piss poor attitudes those Canucks had. Will certainly
keep a closer eye in the future!

Last Thursday out there a DEC boat ran alongside me, looking for/checking on something, and then sped off to the check the next boat. I think he was checking registration numbers......

Something else to think about if you cross over

    Don't take the bait

It's OK to import earthworms as long as they are packed in artificial bedding. But it's illegal to carry live minnows or leeches into Ontario. The same goes for live fish, smelt, wax worms, crayfish and salamanders. Frozen or salted minnows are allowed

With our help in the war of 1812 Canada was able to gain freedom from the British. The British were coming and the GREAT U.S. STOPPED THEM

I'm sorry you came across some lower end Canadians. As with any nationality there is a percentage who don't represent the majority very well. Most of us think nothing of it when fishing along a border, It's an imaginary line after all. Hopefully you can forgive Canada forsaking a couple morons.
