I think any method used for trolling, whether it be lead, inline weights, jets, dipseys or downriggers all have there time and place. I think the most important thing to remember when heading out on the lake is to be as versatile as possible. Try to find the best method that works, that day. Don't pigeon hole yourself into thinking only one method works better than anything else, all the time. Because this just isn't the case. And always remember, trust your electronics. You have to be on fish to catch fish. All the best out on the water guys.

Best way to learn would be to book a charter with someone on that end of lake and learn hands on. You can learn a lot in 1 day compared to several calls or messages to someone for advice. Fishkiller could hook you up on everything
