You might wanna post in the western basin section. This is the eastern end. Weather has kept most off the lake at this end. Small craft advisery in effect through the weekend again.

This is from the Buffalo News dated 12/10/14

While most perch targeters have set aside their open-water rigs for the season, Miller had three boaters head out earlier this week and at least one of the crews came in with a 100-fish limit of ringbacks.

As has been the case for perch-targeting boaters since early last spring, the most mentioned number for catch successes has been 62 feet, a good number to keep in mind when heading out on hard water later this season.

Does anybody know if any ramps are open after the freezing rain and snow the last couple days? Sturgeon or the Catt?

The ramp was open but the docks were out at SP. Millers bait said the docks were out at the Catt. but guys were launching at Handover & the St.. launch . this was as of last Monday. We fished Mon. & got skunked just couldn't locate any out of SP.

I drove by Sturgeon Pt. today around 11:30 am. There were three vehicles with empty trailers. I saw one boat north about a mile out. I don't know where the other two were.
