They make fords, gms and dodge in canada, honda and toyota in america, I don't see much difference these days as far as american jobs. When I was looking at chevy equinox they had a sticker showing percentage made in north america. Not america, but north america and even then it was like 65%.

Anchor Wheel, I did question about the car not being made in the USA when I went to buy. They told me that the Toyota was totally union made in the US. except for the transmission(made in Japan) & it had more American parts in it than the Chevy I was trading in! Surprised the ch!t out of me! Our union president use to harass guys for not buying US. made products, made in America until we looked at his Ford made in Canada with parts made in Mexico, he preceded to put his foot in his mouth & his head up his a$$. lol Past member of the IBEW for 40+ yrs.
