I am transferring waypoints from my old unit to a new one that I will run this summer. I have WP's where I have caught fish from Buffalo to Barcelona. I am curious what others do with previous years WP's. Do you wipe them and start over? Save one where you might have many others close by? How do you do this from year to year?
Dennis
I save all mine about 9yrs worth but I usually fish buffalo to sp
jeff
Yes I have many years as well but my map gets a bit icon cluttered in spots and when I try to repeat a pass on a new WP it can get confusing.
Dennis
I dump them every year, I end the summer with 700-900 waypoints. The only ones I keep are the named ones, like harbors, buoys, and a few secret holes for perch.
As I transfer from my WPs from my GPS/Sonar each year to my laptop many WPs occur in the same areas. Granted I am putting myself back in those areas as I fish. Anyway I'm putting a new unit on the boat and just considered starting fresh again with the exception of harbors etc.
Dennis
I went by the SBH ( or whatever its called these days ) there were 8 to 10 boats inside the harbor fishing. there were kayaks, power boats, etc. Milt were you out there?

Bring the fishing stories back. Don't wait to bring the warm weather back - as soon as you get there push it north. We can't wait 2 weeks for warm weather.
I like the Keys. It's my goal to get there and spend some time there. I've heard some great stories from that area. I passed through it once and loved it.
Fishkiller you did it again - the lake temp went down to 39 deg.
