nice. i had two in my back yard day before yesterday. If i didn't love to fish so much I would be looking forward more to opening day.

copo, thanks for the info. I'll give a shot and keep practicing with different things and keep a log. Good luck to you this year.

    Default Full or half crawler

A Canadian friend of mine suggested cutting the night crawler in half so there is not so much hanging out, but I tend to like nice big fat juicy crawlers hooked on all 3 hooks (on the worm harness). Anybody out there have any comments ?

I like a whole crawler myself with a little tail hanging off the last hook. Waving at the fish. But if it's too long you'll miss fish with short strikes. So if the worm is long I loop the worm on one hook. Just doesn't seem a half a crawler will cover all the hooks enough

I like 2 hook harnesses . I put the back hook in the collar of the worm & the front hook in the tip of the nose .If the worm is extra long I use a trailer hook in the tail end & try to get it to run without spinning in the water. I like Three D & Hi Tech. harnesses.
