Fished out of the Catt this morning. Marked quite a few fish spread out from 65 to 80 fow. We were only able to get 4 to bite, all on watermelon worm harness suspended around 60 fow. Based on conversation around the fish cleaning table, the perch are starting. Also saw a guy on the wall with a trout, so they must be starting too.

Fished out of the Catt again this morning. Tried everything from 60 - 85 fow. Only had 4 bites in 4 and half hours. Landed 2 on stick baits run at 60 over 80. Marked a lot of fish, but I was clearly doing something wrong as the other guys at the fish cleaning table did pretty good. No limits, but much better than 2.

Do you think that they were fishing for Muskies? Or that other species that hasn't been around this end lately - WALLEYE?
-

Gotta be walleye. I used to know a guy that would fish walleyes into Nov around Donnelly's wall, but that was quite a few years ago.

Walleye bite has been decent casting from shore after dark.
I’m all winterized up now. Had a blast pounding some of them jumbos out from the Catt.
Hopefully going to be a nice long and cold hard water season. Til then, the Crappies are on notice.
